Here is a set of Imitation pearl grips manufactured by America’s premiere grip manufacturer, Hogue Inc. of Paso Robles, California. This set is Hogues #45318, Imitation Pearl to fit standard size grip frame 1911 pistols made by Armscor, Colt, Detonics, Kimber, Para Ordnance, Taurus, Wilson, and a whole host of regular and custom manufactureres. These will only fit true 1911 or 1911A1 type pistols with full size grip frames. The right panel is Not recessed for an ambidextrous safety. These will only fit conventional 1911 pistols with standard safety. Screw hole centers should measure a dead 3 inches between their centers in the grip frame. These will not fit compact 1911s like the MC-1 Detonics or Colt Officer sizes. They will not fit Star or Llama pistols. They will not fit the keyboard of a Baby Grand Piano. Construction is Pearl Polymer with brass escutcheons. These grips are, write the factory, traditional two-piece design that follows the frame straps; and hand-buffed with carnauba wax finish to prevent peeling.
