Photo shows genuine factory issue Sig Sauer Magazines for the P-228 Pistol chambered in 9mm. Parent Pistols were used by the Swiss State Police, and date codes to the parents ranged from JJ, 1988, until KD, 1993. Construction is all steel, parkerized military finish, with matching steel floorplates and high impact black polymer followers. Capacity is 13 rounds of 9mm ammunition. All specimens are marked with only the word Sig-Sauer on the left side of their bodies. All of them, most crucially, are dovetailed-back construction, as the photos show. These are authentic German Sig Sauer, then. Insertion and Ejection streaking is minimal to moderate, these are mechanically sound. Note the pebbling visible on their front faces; the Swiss police armorers request this so that these magazines would not free-fall eject; Switzerland, after all, is more often snow covered than not, and the officers don’t want to lose their magazines in all that white stuff. These mags nevertheless eject smoothly enough. We rate them as Very Good, and buyer will receive one or more magazines from the same batch as the photo specimens. Replacement pricing on these magazines in our area is upwards of $100 apiece, if a person can even find One. We’re offering the magazines in the photos, however, each for only $ 37.00. Not for sale to civilian residents of California, Chicago, District of Colombia, Hawaii, New York City, Puerto Rico, or any jurisdiction where 13 round Pre-Ban magazines are restricted to law enforcement.
