This is a Dean's Gun Restoration built M1 Garand with a WWII serial number receiver.
I purchased this direct from DGR and am able to sell it to someone with a C&R License.
As you may already know DGR makes THE most accurate M1 grand on the market. And the prettiest rifles around. Their motto is "Life’s Too Short to Shoot an Ugly Gun".
A DGR rifle (such as this) is not "assembly line" production. All parts that DGR uses are hand fitted to produce possibly the very best M1s in the industry.
All new metal finish with a mildly shiny stock (not the dull military finish).
See what Precision Shooting magazine has to say about a DGR weapon:
This unit comes with a DGR inspection certificate as well.
For those of you who have or want to be in a M1 Garand competition this is the weapon to own.
I have NEVER FIRED this weapon after it was built by DGR.
Stored in a new Pelican long case with new desiccant changed monthly.
This is one sweet unit. My situation forces this sale at this time.
This is a great price for this unit!
This rifle is John C. Garand match qualified with all the DGR tweaks for accuracy. It comes with a beautiful (it don't have to be ugly to be accurate) new Walnut stock set with DGR's hand rubbed oil finish and new Mil-Spec Parkerizing.
SA barrel dated 2-55 and most other parts from post war rebuild. The barrel's muzzle measures .5 with a TE of 2 and has a shiny bore.
I will send this M1 Garand in a Pelican Long case #1750 (with foam) in OD Green to the winning buyer
