A pre WW1 1911 pistol(ser# 202727 del Dec. 15 1917) that's REALLY ROUGH. Pistol has been polished out. There is no finish left on it's surface. Roll stamps and US PROP stamp are gone. The pistol was blood spatttered and now pitted. Front site has been replaced, grips are post WW2, barrel is Springfield replacement barrel and is FROSTED. Both the front strap and manispring housing has be professionally checkered and is not overdone. Hammer is Colt WW2, mag is 2 tone and splattered. The person who did this to this pistol should be STRUNG UP. There ought to be a law. ALL IN ALL IT WOULLD MAKE A GOOD SHOOTER. It is AFTERALL a COLT. Check out the pics.
