This gun is chambered for 3" shells and can handle any modern ammo. This gun is a GSI Import and not a GDR made gun. The condition on this gun is next to new. The barrel blueing is perfect with no dings, dents or scratches. The stock also is next to new, again, no dings, dents or mars. No cracks or repairs either. The barrels are 28" and the bores shine like a mirror. The LOP is 14" to the end of the original Merkel butt plate. The gun weighs in at 6lbs 14oz. The DAC is 1 5/8" and DAH is 3". As you can see it does have quite a bit of drop at the heel. But patterning the gun it shoots about 65/35 and is well centered. The gun is on face and locks up tight. The SST also works like a charm with no problems what so ever. The ejectors are timed and strong with no problems either. This gun also has Briley installed Thin Wall choke tubes that are rated for ALL shot types, lead, steel or any Non-Tox on the market today. The tubes are marked for Steel Shot constrictions, so the Modified tube for example, will pattern Modified with Steel. Tubes included are 1ea IC, 1ea Mod, 1ea IM and 2ea Full. This is one excellent quality gun in excellent condition, You could call this a "Do it all" gun, perfect for that "One Gun" kind of person. Perfect for the Marsh as well as the Uplands.
