We are offering an Winchester Model 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE chambered 32 W.C.F. caliber. This rifle was manufactured in 1915 and is in good condition. Appears to be original bluing as lettering on barrel and receiver are still crisp.
20” round barrel is very good retaining 75-80% bluing conservatively. Muzzle is good with some wear. Bore is good with very light signs of pitting; Rifling remains very good. Barrel is fit with what appears to be the correct rear flip sight. Front blade sight intact. Full magazine tube shows a couple smaller dings. Receiver shows surface wear retaining 70% bluing conservatively. Saddle ring is missing and holes have “filled in” (who would do such a thing?). Walnut stock in fair condition and has damage to both sides of the neck. Original butt plate shows some wear; loss. Lever action works perfectly and locks up tightly.
