Began as a 42 byf code P.08 produced by Mauser. Customized by unknown gunsmith inspired by the famed John Martz conversions. Sleek Mannlicher style walnut long forend with schnabel flare. Grips in military pattern checkered walnut. Pristine condition miltary pattern buttstock features quick-detach lever release. Superb grip angle & intrinsic ' pointability ' allow for accurate shooting with the stock removed, even one-handed. Finish around '42' date over chamber shows signs of buffing. A fast handling, fun-shooting package at a fraction of the cost of the antique originals, or the vintage Martz projects.
