This gun was purchased by a GI while stationed in Germany and brought back with him in the mid-80s. There are no importer's marks on the gun, it is only stamped with the regular Walther markings The weapon was purchased by this GI through the Heidelburg, Germany Rod and Gun club. It was procured by them somehow or another from one of the West German Police authorities. It likely came from either the regular West German Police, the Bundesgrenschutz (Border Guards) or the Zoll (Customs) Police. There is a cartouche on the left side of the frame that indicates the weapon came out of the Bavarian state. The gun is in overall very good condition. There is very little bluing wear. There are two small dings, or spots, on the left side of the top of the slide. The grips are in good shape, as is the original factory Magazine. Please feel free to email me for additional pictures.
