Description: Here is a variant of the Beretta pistol that began the revolution in semi-auto handguns 30 years ago. There were reasons for that, and the reasons are evident on close inspection of this specimen of the Beretta 92G Pistol. Until 1985 or so, Colt and Browning 9mms would not handle hollowpoints. Smith & Wesson 39 and 59 series pistols would, but the Smiths did not capture the market's imagination, perhaps due to the feel of the 59. Here was a pistol that looked good, felt good, and would handle sharp-nosed Federal and Smith & Wesson Hollowpoint ammo. It was, and is, extremely simply made, very easy to field strip and clean. This particular 92G has served and protected our fellow Americans in the Atlanta Area with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department the past decade or so. Serial number is BER140,000 range, so we estimate it was manufactured in 1991 from similarly numbered Berettas we received that year. The magazine is 15 round Law Enforcement marked; we have plenty of magazines for these starting under $20 apiece. Surface detractions amount to moderate amounts of holster and service contact wear. We have restored its sights to 3 dot configuration after removing the old night sight tubes. We classify it as Good, perhaps Very Good, 75 percent vicinity by our estimate. It has characteristic slick Beretta finish throughout. Photos, at any rate, should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We estimate that it has been fired some 2,000 rounds in its annual qualification paces, no rounds at all for a Beretta 92. Action is traditional single- and double action, with ambidextrous decocker that leaves the pistol ready for double action firing all the time. All 92 Berettas, including this one, have internal firing pin safeties. Barrel is 4.9 inch chrome lined. Magazine capacity is 15 plus 1, and the magazine is ban period Law Enforcement marked. For civilian buyers in jurisdictions with magazine capacity restrictions, we will substitute a Mec-Gar 10 rounder. Weight empty is a well-balanced, easy handling 33.4 ounces. Note that this Beretta has a full length steel guide rod, not plastic like the currently produced models. Finish is matte blue on the steel parts and matte anodized finish on the alloy frame. Own the 92FS in the photo for only $ 369.00 Not transferable to civilians in California, District of Colombia, or Massachusetts. For civilian buyers in jurisdictions where the 15 round magazines are restricted, choice of freight paid and no magazine or for $10 extra we will sub a new Beretta or Mec-Gar 10 Round Magazine. Affected jurisdictions include Chicago Cook County IL, Hawaii, and New York.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
