The bullets are fully coated with a black coating. I do not think they are the true Black Talon Bullets which have a tungstin spike imbeded in the lead. They have a small cup in the base. They are not HP. I purchased these bullets about 3 years ago and do not know what the coating actually is on the bullets but it is well done. I can ship all of the bullets in a small flat rate box for $5.20.
