Here are Mec-Gar magazines originally manufactured and stamped to fit Beretta 84 or Browning BDA Pistols, but that our local engineering talent has modified to fit the Beretta model 81 series pistols chambered in .32 ACP. Manufacturer is Mec-Gar s.r.l. of Gussago, Italy. Importer does not matter since these are no longer under importer warranty. Construction is heat treated carbon steel body and spring stop, music wire spring, and high impact tough lubed polymer floorplate and cartridge follower. Magazines’ lip or mouth area has been modified to cycle .32 ACP caliber ammunition, so these magazines will NOT cycle .380 ACP or any other round. Backs are welded and smooth milled, and we have checked each magazine’s fit. Finish is polished surface nickel plated steel, marked for .380 ACP, but that is no longer the case. Body has two round count ports on its left side. Each magazine holds 10 rounds of .32 ACP caliber ammunition. Cartridge follower has been beveled, and it has an extension guide that is essential to correct operation with the .32 cartridge. Their springs are stiff, but they will fit, and work correctly in, a Beretta 81 in .32 ACP. They will not work in any other pistol.
