The locks and hammers are engraved with light scroll designs and marked "J.H. JOHNSTON / PITTSBURGH, PA" on each lock. Wood ramrod with brass tip and mounted with a one piece straight grip checkered half stock with a flat iron buttplate, decorative, engraved percussion compartment and initial shield on the underside. BBL: 34 1/4 inch solid rib Stock: walnut Gauge: 12 Finish: brown/casehardened Serial Number: No serial number Condition: Good with mostly brown patina remaining on the barrels. The remaining surfaces have a smooth dark brown patina and the silver has an age patina. The stock is good with checkering and some overall scattered minor dings and dents.
