This is a beautiful Colt that locks up very tight. Nickle has been added some time back and has a few small spots of flaking. this is a 44 Caliber with S/N
973XX and shipped in June 1886 to J P Moores Sons in New York, New York. Barrel has been cut back to
3-1/2" and the front sight has been reduced to make it easier to conceal and speed removal from your belt. The Colt letter states that it was 7-1/2" barrel & blue. The quality and condition is excellent at least 80%. The grips are period grips that came off a different original colt. Sold.
