This listing is for a preowned Remington Woodmaster Model 742 Carbine chambered in the scarce .308 Win. The gun is in GREAT condition. The Walnut stock and fore-end appear to have been re-glossed and feature some beautifully intricate checkering . There is very little wear to wood. The barrel is nice as well. There is some residual gloss on parts of the receiver and barrel, nothing to detract from gun (can be cleaned). Receiver was tapped for a scope sight. Holes have filler screws; some wear to top of receiver where sight was. Comes with 4 bullet capacity magazine. Nice leather sling strap included.
