Here is a tight, solid little steel frame Chief’s Special from President Reagan’s Inaugural Year of 1980. It has, like many of its peers, been shot a little and carried a lot. This one was a Texan’s floorboard piece when he made the mistake of running afoul of the Department of Public Safety. It has extensive strong original bluing, more prominent on its left side than on its right, with moderate external scuffing and spotting. While there are similar tiny areas on the cylinder surface, the grip frame backstrap is most conspicuous for its light rust residue. Hammer and trigger retain strong original color casehardening to their finish despite extensive spotting on their surfaces. From the looks of the cylinder face, and from the negligible blast effect visible above the forcing cone, this revolver has likely not been fired more than 50 times. Bore and cylinder chambers are bright, clean, and excellent. Replacement Sile rubber grips are appropriate for the 1980s, and probably produced shortly after the revolver was. Lateral play or wobble effect to the cylinder is moderate with the trigger relaxed and negligible with the trigger pulled. The cylinder times well on all five positions, both in single and double action on a very slow pull. This is an eminently serviceable, little-used Model 36 Round Butt 2 inch Blue with no model suffix. With some expert attention, it could resurrect into a very attractive and collectable Bangor Punta Pinned Barrel J-frame as well. We’re offering it for only $ 329.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
