This is the 99 service size, 9mm Caliber, 16 shot with Factory 3 Dot Sights. It is in its original box with a total of two new 10 round magazines, manufactured in Italy by Mec-Gar for Smith & Wesson. They are late ban period 10 Rounders, manufactured about the same time as the pistol itself. From its 3248 order code, this SW99 was manufactured in August of 2003 ; and the frame is marked Made in Germany. This pistol is basically identical to the SW 99 Q A, down to its rail on the frame. Factory Product Code is 320201. We consider this 99 to be in Excellent Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Its only surface detractions are faint amounts of whitening on the sight edges, and faint scouring on the grip. Neither of these are conspicuous. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. From the minimal bushing contact to the barrel, we estimate this pistol has been fired no more than 300 rounds, barely enough to break it in. Barrel is 3 3/8 inches long, and weight empty with magazine is 23 oz. Construction is high impact polymer frame with steel parts and black stainless serrated slide. It is in its original, correctly numbered factory blue-hinged blue flat box. It has its two replacement mainspring housing backstraps so that the owner can adjust the grip contours. Also included is a California Compliant cable lock, downloaded factory instruction manual, and three replacement dot front sights with allen wrench. Replacement price on the SW99 QA, its closest descendant, is now over $700 in our area. We’re offering this one, however, for only $ 369.00.
