Here for sale is a rather unusual rifle. It is a 1903 Springfield [3335XX]in the venerable calibre 30-06 Springfield. Bore is Very good +++ and it has a beautiful band front sight marked "DAHL" with removable blade insert on this 23" barrel. It is drilled and tapped for scope and also for a peep sight. It also has VERY DESIRABLE Double Set Triggers that work fine and also a hinged floorplate. The checkered metal buttplate rounds out the rifle. All this old rifle needs is a little TLC and some oil on the stock to bring it back to life again. If you are handy with checkering tools the original checkering is still there but needs to be pointed up. I do not know if this rifle was done up in Europe by a G.I. or done stateside. Either way it took a lot of work and needs a new good home. Buyer pays 30.00 to his/her ffl conus. Thanks for looking. More pictures upon request.
