Even though many of us are deeply offended by the word China on presently manufactured Buck and Schrade Knives, such shenanigans are not unprecedented. This Case or Buck factory error was unintentionally manufactured by Camillus Knife Company in 1976. Both Buck and Case contracted certain pocket knife models to Camillus, and the factory made a natural mistake on this particular specimen. The main clip blade is stamped with four dots in 1970s logo lettering with the Case Pattern Designation, 62048, on the rear of the main blade. The handles are, of course, black Buck with their appropriate logo. This knife has never been sharpened or used, one of only two that we have ever seen. We’re offering it for only $ 169.95
