Charter .22 Magnum Stainless Pathfinder 2 in 6 Shot Lightweight Unfired in Box Guns > Pistols > Charter Arms Revolvers

The Firearms Industry was on a binge from the 2008 Election until late 2009. Ever since, we’ve had a hangover. Part of that is to the advantage of the consumer. The Charter .22 Magnum Pathfinder snub in the photo is one of only a half dozen that we bought on a distributor liquidation. They are in their original boxes with all their papers and fired brass dated from just a month or two ago. These have never had a 4473 form executed on them, but they have been footballed between the factory in Shelton Connecticut and two of their distributors. Charter, then, has sold them as used guns since their virginity is in question. All specimens are at least, as we old head Smith & Wesson fans say, Black on Three. S&W has always shipped new revolvers with three shots of test firing, and some of these have been fired on all six cylinder chambers, all at the factory.. We have personally owned and respected Charters for almost 50 years now ourselves, and our ancient photographer carries one almost every day. This Charter Pathfinder is a lightweight traditional double action revolver, functions in both single and double action modes of fire. It has the traditional Charter transfer bar internal safety device to guard against accidental discharge if it is ever dropped. Weight empty is an Airweight-class 19 ounces, light weight with the strength of steel in the main frame and cylinder. It is weight-competitive with the Taurus 941, and its ejector star is vastly more sturdy than the paper-thin Taurus 941’s. Like traditional Smith & Wessons, this Charter is Pinned and Recessed, Pinned Barrel and Recessed or counterbored rear cylinder face. Barrel is one piece full lug stainless steel; the ejector rod end is fully shrouded on the order of the Cobra that Colt never made in this caliber. Hammer and trigger are both traditional satin stainless .305 width, serrated spurred hammer and smooth combat trigger. Grips are thin profile factory finger groove combat, hard rubber, manufactured by Sile for Charter. Michaels boot grips, traditional CHA/C Pachmayrs, and Hogue Bantams are both readily available for Charter owners who wish to decrease the 5 inch sight-to-butt length down to about 4 1/4 inches, but the Siles are excellent for controlled fire, especially in stressful conditions. The Pathfinders have nice long smooth consistent double action trigger pull, or reasonably crisp 5 pound single action pull for more precise target practice. The Charter Pathfinder, then, is an attractive, compact, light and controllable concealment revolver that is profoundly simple to operate and less dangerous on our view than anybody's automatic. Chambered in the fearsome .22 Magnum caliber, this is one of the most formidable defensive revolvers on the market. When we stock Federal Game Shok 50 grain cartridges, CCI .22 Magnum Shotshell, and as much Winchester, Remington and Fiocchi as we're able to get our hands on, we have this Charter Magnum and its Taurus and Smith & Wesson Competitors in mind just as much as we think about our local varmint hunters with their Marlin and Ruger Rifles. Replacement price on the Charter Pathfinder in our area, if a person can even find one, is over $400 apiece, on a par with the Tauruses; the Smith & Wesson 351 PD, of course, floats over $700. We're offering the Charter 72324 Pathfinder in the photo, however, or one of its identical mates for only $ 319.95. Not transferable to civilians in California, D.C., or Massachusetts. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Handguns: $10 flat fee lower 48 states; $30 to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
