Serial number 27 appears on action, bolt handle, shroud and cocking piece. Other markings include Waffenamts on metal and wood, "byf" on bottom metal (2x), "byf" and "45" on front ring and "9 4" on barrel. "GERMANY" is stamped on the right butt just forward of the butt plate. The barrel is 24 inches long. CONDITION: Bore is very bright and rifling strong. Metal finish has thinned to a uniform silver. Wood finish is very good and integrity is as well, with one impression on the right butt just above the sling hole. Price firm. Layaway considered. Photo package by request (include email address).
