From the ultra-premium GUN-KOTE™ finish to the fully heat treated receivers, we strive for the highest quality in each one we build. GUN-KOTE™ was specified by the U.S. Military for use on SOCOM Special Sniper Weapons (SPR’s) in 2003. GUN-KOTE™ is far superior to parkerized or hot blued finishes in looks, durability, and performance. The ultra-premium GUN-KOTE™ service brown finish protects exterior metal parts from rust, corrosion, & scratches. The GUN-KOTE™ finish will not break down, peel or dissolve. In fact, once applied and heat-set, the only way to remove it is through abrasive blasting. GUN-KOTE™ is resistant to all known gun solvents, oils, and thinners. GUN-KOTE™ is a highly specialized hard abrasion resistant coating that meets all military and aerospace specifications for protective coatings. GUN-KOTE™ is formulated to provide excellent impact resistance, lubricity (meets military dry firing specifications), heat dissipation, chemical resistance, corrosion protection, durability, and scratch resistance. It is specially formulated for salt corrosion protection and meets the US Military requirements for "Resistant to Chemicals". GUN-KOTE™ has outstanding heat dissipating qualities, outstanding temperature variation durability (+800 degrees F to -300 degrees F), and outstanding lubrication qualities (self-lubricating benefits from molybdenum disulfide). The T6 collapsible stock has six locking positions. The ATI black polymer quad-rail forearm set features a full length top rail and mini-picatinny rails on the bottom, left and right side. The SAW style pistol grip has sure-grip grooves and convenient storage. The NDS American made receiver is mfg. from ordnance grade 4130 alloy steel, fully heat treated to 40 on the Rockwell "C" Scale. It is a TRUE double stack hi-capacity receiver with the correct "dimples" that securely hold magazines and drums for proper feed & function. The smooth G2 trigger group delivers a crisp 3-4 lb. trigger pull. The original CHROME LINED barrel features a bayonet lug and threaded muzzle with a slotted RPK style muzzle brake. The combat quality machined aluminum alloy vertical foregrip is only 3½ inches long & weighs just over 3 ounces. It features a quick-detach locking system with spring tension control and a smart end cap with waterproof O-ring seal plus storage compartment. The UTG red/green dot scope is compact, has multiple illumination levels in both red & green, a built in base with quick detach thumb-screws, large 38mm lens, and spring loaded lens covers. The UTG Dragon Claw bipod is made of lightweight aluminum, telescopes from 9” to 11”, and folds up neatly under the barrel. Package also includes three (3) lightweight polymer mags; one each TAPCO 20rd & 30rd mags, and one original Bulgarian 40rd mag.
