Here is the best value on a quality pump shotgun, H&R 1871’s Pardner Pump. This is H&R’s compact version of their 20 gauge pump or slide action shotgun. Manufacturer is Hawk International of Shenzen P.R. China. Importer is H&R 1871 of Ilion, New York, a Remington affiliate. Construction is matte finished blue steel barrel, receiver, bolt, and internal parts, with a bright blue shell carrier attached to a gloss black anodized trigger group housing. Buttstock and forend are high impact, traditionally checkered black polymer. Buttstock length of pull is 13 1/8 inches from the smooth faced trigger to the end of the 13/16 thick rubber recoil pad. Buttstock drop is 1 1/2 inches at the comb and 2 1/2 inches at the heel; stock has a 1 inch right hand cant, so this shotgun will not be Southpaw friendly. Overall length is 40 3/8 inches. Barrel is 21 inch 10 post Vent Rib with traditional brass bead front sight. Choke is factory Hawk .595 muzzle modified, okay for steel shot. Choke tube threads are the same as current production Mossberg Accu-Mag, and the older Winchokes or old model Browning Invector, but not Invector plus. Chambering is 20 gauge, for 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Magazine capacity with the 3 shot plug removed is 4 + 1 on 2 3/4 inch, or 3 + 1 on 3 inch. Magazine cap thread is NOT the same as the Remington 870, so 870 thread extensions will not work unless someone invents one. Distance from the barrel lug to the muzzle is 6 inches, so an extension will need to be a hair less than that. Weight empty on this Pardner is 6 1/2 pounds, with its center of gravity beneath the mid section of the closed bolt 5 inches forward of the trigger. Receiver is drilled for a #82 Weaver base, to accept all manner of optics, lights, bells, and whistles. The parent Remington 870 Express Compact commands prices upwards of $500 in our neighborhood. We’re offering the H&R 20 gauge Pardner Compact in the photos, however, or one of its identical mates, for half that. Own one for only $ 239.00.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $20 flat fee lower 48 states; $60 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, UPS Ground or USPS Priority with full insurance coverage. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
