Barrel length is 28 inches. Bore is bright and shiny. Bluing is excellent with only the slightest bluing loss at the very end of the muzzle. Floorplate and triggerguard are excellent with only one blemish about the size of a pencil point on the floorplate. Stock is very nice with several very light dings from hunting. The dings did not scratch through the finish. There is one small dent on the pistol grip. The original owner hunted deer with this rifle. Butt plate is excellent. Plastic swivel holder at the end of the forearm is excellent. The rifle comes with the original crate (box), and the original hanging tag which makes this extremely rare. The box itself is in excellent condition. The felt that originally held the gun in place is worn off from age. The wooden clamps and screws that held the gun in place in the crate are in great shape. The sticker on the side of the box is mostly gone, but some of it is still present. Amazingly, the owner kept the hanging tag, and it is included with the gun. It is in excellent condition with sharp edges. A small scratch goes across the word "CALIBER". Many more photos are available upon request. The gun is being sold on consignment from the heirs of an estate. Gun and crate will be shipped separatly. Gun will be shipped in a hard case.
