Here is a professionally refinished set of factory Smith & Wesson Magna or service style grips to fit any J frame revolver with a round butt grip frame. If the shopper is not clear on the difference between round and square, please see the attached photo. J frame designation, of course, includes models 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 40, 42, 48, 317, 351, 340, 342, 637, 638, 640, and 642. The wood itself is authentic Goncalo Alves, and these grips, from their parent revolvers, left Springfield Massachusetts some time in the early to mid 1980s. Residual pre-finish wear is minimal, only moderate bronzing on the logos. A Methodist Preacher in Tennessee, not the artisans in Springfield, Massachusetts, performed the work. We rate them as Excellent / Refinish, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Replacement pricing on their nearest currently available similar grips from the factory is upwards of $60 per set, if a person can even find any.
