This listing is for TWO magazines, and two was all we had at press time Photos show a pair of genuine factory Smith & Wesson Factory Magazines for the M&P 40 Compact Pistol we’ve come across in several weeks. They are new, and we got them in bulk factory packaging. Construction is serrated body matte blue steel with black polymer flat plate type floorplate and follower. Each magazine holds 10 rounds of .40 S&W ammunition, the maximum charge for a standard length 357C or 40C pistol. These magazines themselves show the most significant of Smith & Wesson’s improvement upon Gaston Glock’s design; these magazines hold together, free-fall eject, and always lock the slide open just like they’re supposed to, something that cannot be said for Glock pistols and their magazines, admirable though they are. Both Magazines are Factory Smith & Wesson and so marked; note that one is bright blue steel and the other is matte blue steel. We have no way, of course, of predicting what we’ll get on trades or liquidations. Both of these came from a law enforcement trade, and we do not believe they were ever issued or fired. Surface detractions are minimal, no more than 2 or 3 faint whitened streaks on either magazine. We classify them as Excellent Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Both are excellent mechanically; spring strength is excellent. Replacement pricing on these magazines in our area is in the $60 range, and they’re not easy to find at that. We’re offering the pair, however, at only $39.50 each. Own them both for only $79.00. Any magazine deliveries into New York City require written permission of the Police Commissioner, so we cannot ship magazines into any of the six boroughs or 176 some odd zip codes, per NYC Code 10-131.10.
