It has one previous owner that purchased it but never utilized it in any way, shape or form. This revolver can definitely be considered NIB (New in Box) but since it was previously owned we are classifying it as New-Never Fired or Carried. The firearm comes with the original blue S&W factory hard case and all the original documentation and contents. 3" revolvers are somewhat rare and hard to find. S&W doesn't produce as many 3" models in comparison to 2.5" and 4" models so they tend to appreciate in value. Additionally, 3" models have a full length ejector rod in comparison to 2.5" models which have a shortened ejector rod, which makes it more difficult to remove empty cases. A 3" 357 Magnum is considered by many to be the most ideal handgun ever invented. It provides two choices of ammunition, unmatched stopping power and is concealable for EDC use or home protection.
