Photos are representative, but buyer will receive a virtually identical shotgun and scope from the same shipment. We only got 3 of these. Here Mossberg’s 835 Ulti-Mag Turkey Thug in full camo with Red and Green Dot Electronic Sight. Manufacturer and warrantor is O.F. Mossberg & Sons of New Haven, CT, and Eagle Pass, TX. Factory number is 62339. Type is pump or slide action shotgun. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, and parts, built into a light weight alloy receiver and buttstock tube, with polymer trigger housing, safety, forend, and buttstock furniture. Chambering is for 12 gauge shells, from 3 1/2 inch Magnums to 3 inch, to 2 3/4 inch shells interchangeably. Since this shotgun’s barrel has a 10 gauge sized internal bore, it is NOT designed for slugs. Buckshot is just fine, though, as our Mississippi neighbors attest. Barrel is 20 inch back bored non ported. Choke system is Mossberg Accu-Mag®, and it is furnished with its original factory installed, .690 ported, extended Ulti-Full Tube. Accu-Mag thread tubes are available throughout the country. Sight system is 8 Post .375 wide serrated top Ventilated Rib, with steel supported detachable high visibility Green Fiber Optic Front sight, and matching Red windage and elevation adjustable rear sight, for a 3 dot sighting picture. Receiver has a factory 12 slot Picatinny Rail, with an FM brand Red and Green Dot Electronic Sight, with B-Square medium 4 screw rings. Magazine capacity is 5+1 on 2 3/4 inch, and 3+1 on 3 1/2 inch and 3 inch shells. Since the barrel’s lug fits over the magazine and the cap secures with a detent, magazine extensions are easily installed, and we do it frequently ourselves. Safety is classic Mossberg top tang style; and the LPA Lightning Pump Action center set trigger pulls at 4 1/2 pound vicinity with minimal felt creep. Forend is semi beavertail with checkered inlays. Buttstock has checkered grip panels, standard 1.5 x 2.5 inch drop and right hand cant, and measures 14 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 1 inch black recoil pad. Finish is Mossy Oak Break Up Infinity® camo, with the exception of matte finish shell carrier, bolt, safety, and trigger. This 835 and its mates come to us from Mossberg’s distribution system. They served light duty, likely with a sales rep or writer. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint occasional surface streaking or edge whitening. We rate them as Excellent, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We estimate none have been fired more than 50 times, if at all. Each 835 comes in a factory box with cable lock and instruction manual that bears Mossberg’s Statement of Warranty. Replacement pricing on this shotgun on mossberg com is $730. We’re offering the Mossberg 835 Red Green Dot Turkey Thug shotgun in the photos, however, or one of its virtually identical mates, each for only $ 419.00. Any ammunition or personnel in photos are Not included.
