Photo shows one of only a few very nice, authentic World War II issue Russian Moisin-Nagant Rifle in 7.62 Russian Caliber, 7.62x54R we were able to get recently. All of them have World War II Date, and all of them are similar condition to the specimen in the photo. Dates range from 1930 to 1943, so they are all C&R Eligible. We’re selling each one complete with 200 rounds, 10 full boxes, of Brown Bear 203 grain Soft Point Ammunition. In our area, this package represents $400 or so in retail value. The rifle itself is one of the most rugged ever manufactured. Barrel measures 29 1/2 inches from muzzle to bolt face, and overall length is just over 48 inches from muzzle to buttplate. Our worthy Russian adversaries/allies always kept their military weapons in excellent repair. Lettering is sharp throughout, and we believe these rifles were arsenal refinished probably in the 1950s or 60s. Lettering and features are sharp throughout. Stock refinish shows minimal old scouring, and is a nice semi-gloss finish. Liberty Arms International import stamp is visible but inconspicuous on the left side of the receiver. Bore and chamber are excellent with no signs of any pitting whatsoever. Chamber and mechanism are bright, clean, and excellent; and the bolt serial number matches the receiver's number. Chamber area of the barrel is dated 1930 to 1943. Russian Government Issue Sling, double magazine pouch, and cleaning kit are all included. Ammo is Russian Hunting Ammo, Brown Bear manufactured in the Barnaul Factory, lacquered steel case with 203 grain jacketed soft point ammunition. In fact, all these rifles have ever had fired in them is steel case ammunition; since they’re such rugged rifles, it won’t hurt them at all.
