The North American Arms .22 Magnums are more manageable than first glance would indicate. Our photographer claims to have consistently hit 2 liter Pepsi bottles at 10 yards in the center with his .22 Magnum. The one shown in the photo is factory number NAA-22M, the Matte Stainless Five Shot .22 Magnum in 1-5/8 inch barrel. Factory specs are as follows: Factory specs are as follows: caliber .22 Magnum; single action; 1 5/8” barrel with 1/12 twist; 5 ¼” overall length; weight 5.9 oz empty; metal finish – matte stainless with brushed finish frame sides and cylinder; grips – laminated rosewood; sights fixed notch rear and integral half moon blade front; cylinder capacity 5 rounds. This one is was locally owned by one person only, one of our best McNairy County customers who fired it fewer than 50 times. It was manufactured in 2009, fired brass is dated January 19. Its only surface detractions are faint cylinder rotation marking and light scouring on both sides of the frame behind the cylinder. We rate it as Excellent, since 90 percent or more of its original finish is intact by our estimate. Photos should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, cylinder chambers, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Replacement price on these little Magnums is $300 or more in our area, if a person can even find one.
