After a detailed inspection I have no doubt that it has never been fired. You will not find one in better condition. It features a heavy 30" 1/2 octagon 1/2 round Badger barrel, original Browning rear soule sight and Lee Shaver spirit-level globe front sight. The Badger barrel has 8-groove right hand twist rifling with a 1:18 twist rate. The Browning vernier soule rear sight with three eyecup apertures, two 10-32 mounting screws and 8 interchangeable front sight inserts are packaged in a separate molded “sight box” designed to protect the sights. Eyecup aperture (hole) sizes are 0.052”, 0.064”, and 0.073”. The rear sight mounting screws and front sight inserts (all still attached to the sight card) are stored in the sight box. The rifle will be shipped in the original factory rifle box, which is worn from previous shipping. The original rifle owner’s manual and the sight owner’s manual will be included. The rifle was been completely disassembled, cleaned and lubricated. The action shows no signs of wear and is in perfect condition as is the chamber and bore. The original factory lube was evident with no fouling or residue in the action or bore. I could not find any dings or scratches on the metal or wood. It is in perfect condition. Miroku only manufactured the BPC rifles for Browning from 1996 thru 1998. This rifle was manufactured in 1998. It has the redesigned crown and extractor. On a very accurate postage scale, the rifle weighs 11 lbs 6.6 oz with the sights and an eyecup installed. For an additional $65, in exchange for the original sear, a Lee Shaver modified trigger sear can be installed, reducing the 4 to 5 lb factory trigger pull to approximately 2 lbs or slightly less. For $60 I can provide a Cerrosafe cast of the chamber, throat & bore with all dimensions documented at the correct time after the cast was made. I SELL TO CALIFORNIA BUYERS FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
