Age and residency restrictions apply on Cruiser Grip shotguns, so please read this entire ad carefully before bidding or offering to buy. This listing is for the exact shotgun in the photos. This is Mossberg’s 500 Cruiser 12 gauge in blue and matte black finish, with a factory issue Tri-Rail Forend. The 50600 variant issued with a different Center Mass Laser. This one came to us with no laser, and we installed a brand new BSA SL650 dot laser. Manufacturer and warrantor is O.F. Mossberg & Sons of New Haven, CT, and Eagle Pass, TX. Construction is steel barrel, magazine tube, double slide bars and complete forend structure, bolt, internal parts and trigger built into an alloy receiver. Outer forend, pistol grip, safety button, and trigger group housing are high impact polymer. Caliber chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Barrel is 18 1/2 inch Cylinder Bore, .725 vicinity muzzle diameter, with traditional hex base brass bead front sight. Like all 12 gauge 500s, this one’s receiver is 4 screw drilled for a Weaver 82 or 417S, or similar rail for receiver mounted optics or lights. Heat shield is Masen Company black polymer, vented trench gun type. Magazine holds 5 rounds of 2 3/4 inch shells, or 4 rounds of 3 inchers, so fully loaded capacity on 2 3/4 inch is 5 + 1. Forend is Tri-Rail factory, with lateral 4 Slot Picatinny Rails, and a 12 Slot Lower Rail; with full length steel bracing underneath it. The BSA detachable laser is a 650 series, rated for 650 nm wavelength, and made in the world’s most populous nation. Overall length is 28 1/2 inches. Weight empty is 5 3/4 pounds, with center of gravity at the forend. Felt recoil is substantial. Finish is matte blued steel, matte finish anodized receiver, and matte black grip and forend. Note the Thunder Ranch logo on the receiver’s right side. This cruiser comes to us from Mossberg’s distribution system. We call it a factory demo. The letter U is stamped near its serial number. This shotgun served light duty, likely with a sales rep or writer. Surface detractions are minimal, really no more streaking and faint edge whitening than what one sees on many new display guns in stores. We rate it as Excellent, 90 to 95 percent vicinity. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. If this shotguns was test fired, it was fewer than 20 times. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. This 500 Cruiser comes in a relabeled Mossberg Factory Box with factory lock, NSSF and NRA flyers, and instruction manual that includes Mossberg’s warranty statement. It does not have any storage tube, any tin cans, any extra stocks, or any extra sling studs. Replacement pricing on a 50600 with the original center mass laser is $695 on mossberg com.
