Capacity, of course, is 5 rounds; fixed notch rear sight and blade front sight atop a matte finished sighting plane for diminished glare; matte white alloy frame; traditional Satin Stainless thumb latch, hammer and trigger. The hammer strikes a floating firing pin, and in addition to the transfer bar internal safety, this revolver comes with Taurus's patented and inconspicuous hammer lock with two keys. Grips are pliable semi-pebbled rubber combat with finger grooves and faint palm swells. At 17.5 ounces, the grips along with the steel frame make for an optimal combination of lightness and maneuverability. This is one we sold new to a local shop keeper in 2006. He carried it constantly, but fired it fewer than 20 times. Surface detractions are only moderate, with faint amounts of darkening to the finish. We rate it as Very Good, perhaps even Excellent; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished Elvis fan shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is certainly excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. It is in its original box with all its papers, and the warranty card has never been executed. Replacement pricing on similar special edition revolvers is in the $400 - $500 range in our area.
