HG5199 From its career with the Israeli civilian Police, the Mishteret Y’Israel, comes this FN Belgian Made Hi-Power, model of 1935, also known as the P-35. This is a commercial variant, but it has served its country in an official capacity. Date code is PT, manufactured in 1981. Caliber is THE 9mm, 9mm Luger, 9x19, 9mm Parabellum, call it what you will. Construction is entirely steel, 118 mm or 4 5/8 inch barrel, right-hand-twist 6 groove; magazine safety and firing pin safety; weight empty 32 oz / 900 g; fixed sights; single action only with lever safety; .265 smooth face combat trigger and matching serrated spur hammer; blue steel finish; and traditional checkered grip panels. This specimen shows extensive whitening, scouring, and etchy brown toning on its surfaces as well as scouring on its grip panels. It still shows plenty of original bluing, on the other hand. Slide is marked Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q. on the left side; and Made in Belgium / by Fabrique Nationale Herstal on the right. PW Arms import marking appears on the left side of the frame as required by US Law. We rate this Belgian-Israeli Hi-Power as Good finish wise, sixty percent by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice so that our distinguished shoppers can judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Most likely this pistol will require throating before it will feel sharp-nosed hollow point ammo; that was the case with all Hi-Powers before the mid 1980s. Magazine is military issue 13 round. We are including a new Mec-Gar 10 round magazine; for civilian buyers in jurisdictions where 13 round magazines are restricted, we will sub a total of 2 Mec-Gars, or for anyone else who prefers them, for that matter. We’re offering this collectable, serviceable FN Hi-Power for only $ 389.95. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
