Here are improvements on most factory magazines that come with Sig Sauer P229 Pistols chambered in .357 Sig or .40 S&W Caliber, the Mec-Gar 14 round AFC. Manufacturer is Mec-Gar s.r.l. of Gardone, Italy. Importer and warrantor is Mec-Gar USA of Middletown, CT. Construction is one piece heat treated steel body, with smooth milled, welded back. Spring is high tensile piano grade music wire, with steel inner stop and stud assembly; and with black polymer grip adapter floorplate and cartridge follower. Body is right side ported for round count. Finish is teflon based, black semi gloss Mec-Gar AFC, Anti-Friction Coating. Each magazine holds 14 rounds of .357 Sig or .40 S&W caliber ammunition. These magazines will fit any Sig Sauer P229 Pistol chambered in either of those calibers, or any Kel-Tec Sub 2000 carbine that is designed for .357 Sig or .40 S&W Sig 229 magazines.
