HG5325From its career with the Israeli civilian Police, the Mishteret Y’Israel, comes this FN Belgian Made Hi-Power, model of 1935, also known as the P-35. This is the classic configuration of the Belgian made Hi-Power, bright blue, walnut grips, and round Commander hammer. Caliber is THE 9mm, 9mm Luger, 9x19, 9mm Parabellum, call it what you will. Construction is entirely steel, 118 mm or 4 5/8 inch barrel, right-hand-twist 6 groove; magazine safety and firing pin safety; weight empty 32 oz / 900 g; fixed sights; single action only with lever safety; .265 smooth face combat trigger and matching Commander style hammer. Serial number is 44,000 range, probably manufactured in 1953 or 1954. Most likely, this pistol was on guard during all three major wars in 1956, 1967, and 1973. Its finish shows some original matte blue, but mostly brown patina. Slide is marked Fabrique Nationale de Armes de Guerre / Herstal Belgique / Browning’s Patent Depose, with PW Arms import marking beneath on the left side of the frame as required by US Law. Grips are original factory walnut FN. Hammer and ejector port area of the barrel show extensive brown toning. Some of the left side shows small amounts of superficial pitting on both frame and slide. We rate this Belgian-Israeli Hi-Power as Good, fifty percent range by our estimate; but photos ought to suffice so that our distinguished shoppers can judge finish grade for themselves. It is well maintained and excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Most likely this pistol will require throating before it will feel sharp-nosed hollowpoint ammo; that was the case with all Hi-Powers before the mid 1980s. Magazine is military issue. We are including a new Mec-Gar 10 round magazine; for civilian buyers in jurisdictions where 13 round magazines are restricted, we will sub a total of 2 Mec-Gars, or for anyone else who prefers them, for that matter. We’re offering this collectable, serviceable FN Hi-Power for only $ 419.95. Not transferable to civilian non-dealers in Massachusetts. C&R Eligible, of course. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Handguns: $10 flat fee lower 48 states; $30 to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
