Rear sight is M16 handle type dual aperture, windage and elevation adjustable. Receiver is classic A2 military configuration with forward bolt assist and integral deflector. Magazine is department issue alloy body and floorplate. From this rifle’s US100,000 range serial number, it was manufactured around the Millennial Year and issued under Sheriff Richard Pearce’s administration. Right side of receiver is correctly stamped, Restricted for Government or Law Enforcement Use Only; and Magazine bears similar markings. Surface detractions are moderate, principally edge whitening and scouring on its buttstock.
