Here is what Charter Arms says about their .44 Bulldog Series: The Bulldog is tough enough to harness the stopping power of a .44 special ammunition. 2.5 barrel and 21 ounces make this a lightweight powerhouse. … Soft rubber pancake style grips make shooting comfortable. Lightweight, small frame, fixed sights and tremendous stopping power make the .44 Bulldog the ultimate carry gun. Our photographer has carried a blue variant of this revolver for 20 years, and it is light, reliable, and plenty powerful. This 74421 variant of the Charter Bulldog has a stainless steel main frame and upper parts, with Charter's distinctive alloy grip frame. Caliber is .44 Special or .44 Russian. Barrel is 2 1/2 inch full shroud stainless, and capacity is 5 rounds. This revolver has a factory pocket hammer, and it is full time double action. The hammer will not stand for single action firing. Safety is internal transfer bar that prevents accidental discharges if the revolver is dropped. Grips are factory Charter hard rubber, manufactured by Sile in New York; and weight empty is only 22 ounces. Photo specimen comes to us from one of our favorite Oklahoma traders, who is also a distinguished Vietnam Veteran. It is in its original box with gun lock and all its papers including a never executed factory registration card. Fired brass envelope is dated from December of 2009. The box does not have a label. Surface detractions are minimal, really no more cylinder rotation marking than many of its brand new mates we’ve sold in the past few years. This revolver has not been fired since it left the factory. We rate it as Excellent in Box, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Replacement pricing on similar Smith & Wessons ranges upwards of $1000 apiece, and if a person can even find a Rossi model 720, they fetch upwards of $700 many times. We’re offering this Charter powerhouse .44 Special Stainless & Alloy Bulldog for only $ 369.00. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
