This is a well used Colt Python, 357 Magnum, from 1961, SN 17438. This gun was bought new in 1962 and not used until 1978, when it was carried as a police duty weapon for about 10 years. It has about 6000 rounds through it from practice/qualifying. This gun has holster rash and wear on the bluing, a few dings in the original grip and a dent on the front sight. The gun is mechanically sound and works well - no mechanical defects. Normal wear from 10 years of service. No reserve. I can only accept a postal money order for payment.
