Offered here is a Colt Model 1873 Revolver W/ Holster & Belt Rig. Serial number is 70337 and numbers match. Manufacture date is 1881. Caliber is .45. Barrel length is 5" and overall length is approx. 10 1/2". Bore / rifling is fair to good. Action functions well to cock and fire but is missing a click. Very old heavy re-nickel covers the barrel address and patent dates. It appears the cylinder pin screw has been altered ( as shown ). Grips are wooden and in good condition. Overall condition of the gun is fair. -- The gun and holster/belt rig have been together many,many years. It is reported to be that the owner was a Sheriff in Pa.and wore this rig on duty prior to world war two. -- The holster belt is leather and is approx. 3 1/4" wide and 1/4" thick. The overall length is approx. 46". The steel buckle is a very old style. There are no significant rips or holes and the stitching is in good condition. Believe the snaps on the holster belt were for a Sam Brown strap. --- The holster is also leather and is in good condition with no holes or rips. Stitching is in good condition and intact. Strap is still in good condition and functions as it should.There is a symbol with marking "WS" on the holster strap as shown in the pictures. --- Please see the pictures which will add to the description and show the markings. --- Standard 3 day inspection period.
