Pachmayr grips stand out from their plain Jane competitors by their pliability, their ability to absorb recoil, and their superior handling qualities. On any pistol or revolver, Pachmayr grips will improve the shooter's marksmanship. Their aesthetic qualities leave the competitors even farther behind. Pachmayrs are appropriate for the classic period of Smith & Wesson, Colt, Ruger, even Charter, Rossi, and Taurus Revolvers manufactured from the 1960s until the mid 1990s. Their slightly higher price than their Hogue and Michaels competitors are worth the difference even to the untrained eye, but Pachmayrs are an exceptional value given the pricey-ness of classic Goncalo and Walnut grips nowadays. This offering is for most Rossi Revolvers in small frame, the Model 68, 88, and their descendants, including Models 68971 972 Square Butt Grip Frame. They will not fit the old Pre-1969 Rossis with round butt grip frame. They are the only currently made, readily available grip that is period appropriate for classic 1970s and 1980s small frame Rossis. On most of the older classic Rossis, these grips push the appearance of the Rossis much closer to that of the pricier Colt D Frames of the same period, attest our ca 1970 Rossi 68 in the photos.
