The Conquistadores del Cielo (Conquerors of the Sky) is one of the world's most exclusive business fraternities. Established in the 1930's, it is a publicity-shy organization that brings together the presidents and chieftains of airline and aerospace industries for a weekend gathering in the West. This Colt 1851 Navy .36 pistol was created as a special edition for their 1976 gathering and ordered by the late Mr. Jack Parker (former Boone and Crockett Club President and the vice chairman and executive officer of General Electric Company, 1968-1980). Resting in a glass-top display case with accessories, commemorative plate and copy of the organization's publication, it remains in unfired condition with a slight amount of tarnish showing along the grip. The pistol itself is specially marked on the top an sides of the barrel, and Jack Parker's name appears on the grip. Price firm. Photo package by request.
