Barrel length is 20” with open sights. Length of pull is 14" to an Ithaca HRBP. Overall length is 37 1/2". Walnut stock and forend are excellent...a couple of light handling marks but no dings or scratches. Barrel and receiver are excellent with no rust, pitting or scratches. Gun has an exposed hammer that must be cocked in order to fire. Called the Saddlegun by Ithaca, it is great for youngsters and the beginning shooter. Mechanisms function flawlessly. Scarce 49R in excellent condition.
