This rifle has had its stock shortened to make it a sporting rifle presumably after the war. 40” barrel remains good with wear; patina. Smooth bore is good with light overall wear, oxidation. The sidelock, clearly marked “London Warranted” remains very good. Flintlock hammer cocks back, holds, and fires forward with great force! Gun appears to remain functional. Stock is good without much wear; Right side of shoulder stock does show a 2” closed crack, otherwise no damage noted. Original bayonet intact. NICE ANTIQUE FLINTLOCK!
