This listing is for the exact shotgun in the photos. This specimen has a blemish on its pistol grip cap area. Here is Mossberg International’s crowning achievement, the Silver Reserve Over and Under Shotgun in 20 gauge. Examination of its lines and workmanship demonstrate the impressive expertise of Turkish Gunmakers who, after all, have been at the trade for as long as their Italian teachers and counterparts. Not only Mossberg, but also Remington, Smith & Wesson, and Weatherby have all indulged their lines with shotguns made in Turkey; and this is the most attractive of the entire lot. This Silver Reserve Field comes with two Benelli thread .615 and .620 Improved and Cylinder choke tubes; muzzle is threaded for current production Benelli or Beretta Mobil type tubes. This shotgun’s manufacturer is Kayhan Art, or Khan, of Konya, Turkey. Importer and warrantor is Mossberg International of Eagle Pass, Texas. At the heart of every Reserve Series Over-and-Under is an underlock design, box lock action for superior strength and low profile. So says Mossberg. The photos show the attractively blued barrel, 20 gauge, 2 3/4 and 3 inch chambered 26 inch Vent Rib Barrel. Rib is field type, .235 high above the barrel, with slots whose posts and anchors support a .320 wide checkered serration rib with brass bead front sight. Stock and forend are satin finished European Walnut with cut checkering. Receiver is engraved satin nickel with gold inlay. Trigger is gold plated, and the tang safety serves as barrel selector. Barrels have single block extractor, and the extractor and chamber sides are nicely jeweled. Buttstock measures for a 14 inch length of pull including the Decelerator type buttpad; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb and 2 1/4 inch drop at heel with about a 3 degree right hand cant from the frame, so this O/U will not be Southpaw friendly unless a competent stock smith alters the cant. Weight empty is a well balanced 7.6 pounds with center of gravity at the back of the forend. Firing selection is by mechanical transfer, not by recoil. Surface detractions are negligible to minimal, really no more shop wear than many brand new shotguns on display in gun shops: faint occasional edge whitening on the bluing, and occasional streaks to the satin finished Turkish Walnut. This Silver Reserve comes in a Mossberg factory box with instruction manual that includes statement of warranty. It served as a showgirl with Mossberg’s Sales Force, but Mossberg’s reps are not the ones who ineptly ground a small area of the buttstock’s pistol grip area. Other than that one area, surface detractions are negligible. We rate this Mossberg as Very Good, close to Excellent, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to determine finish grade for themselves. This Silver Reserve commands upwards of $900.00 apiece in our area. We're offering the 26 inch Mossberg Silver Reserve 20 gauge in the photos, however, for a wholesale level price of only $ 359.00.
Guns America search terms Reserve Robertson will bring up other specimens of this Mossberg variant.

Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
