Serial number 56911X puts 1913 as its year of production. Wood in pretty good condition for 101 years old. Blue finish is mostly gone on the receiver, and top of the barrel forward of the receiver where it was carried. This was an old timers gun, and he used a electric pencil to put some sort of ID number on the receiver just forward of the release button, and again just forward of the receiver on the barrel housing..
