Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: 3 Days Description: Wonderful Cooper M54 Excalibur in the long range, and consistently accurate .308 Winchester caliber. This Excalibur is a bolt action, magazine fed, 3 shot repeater featuring a durable synthetic stock built by hand by laying up fiberglass, aramid fibers and graphite. The stock features classy red spider webbing over a matte black surface and post sling studs, fore and aft. The barrel is a fluted Wilson chrome moly 24 inch barrel with crowned muzzle, fast taper and matte blue finish. The barrel is free floated forward of the receiver. The muzzle diameter is 0.563 inch. The action is bedded with an integral aluminum bedding block precision machined to fit the action. The bolt is spiral fluted with a three-lug front lock-up, a Sako-style machined extractor and a retractable tab ejector that is machined from solid bar stock. A red dot cocked indicator extends from the rear of the bolt when cocked. The trigger is a fully adjustable single stage that can be adjusted down to 1.5 pounds of pull with zero creep or over-travel. The receiver and bottom metal are matte blue finish. This Excalibur weighs in at only 6 pounds with bolt installed, making this rifle a great carry or “mountain” rifle. Overall length is 41 ¼ inches. Length of pull is 13 11/16 inches over the ¾ inch Pachmayr rubber butt pad. The test target attests to the accuracy potential of this three shot repeating sporting rifle.
