Wearing a 30-inch octagon-to-round barrel (muzzle diameter is 1.06 inches), it has a bright bore with minimal spots of roughness. Serial number 4693 appears on barrel, receiver and the stock (under the butt plate). Both "51" and "O" are stamped on the front of the receiver. Features include set triggers and tang sight (adjustable for windage, elevation and aperture size). Weight is 12.8 pounds and length of pull is 13.25 inches from the front trigger. CONDITION: Barrel wears a possible refinish (suggested by slight softening of markings) and shows about 90%. Receiver colors are about 40% and present well overall. Finish on small parts remains strong and consistent in the balance. Wood rates about 85%, and while checkering remains sharp there is a suggestion of extra finish. A crack on the upper right rear of the forend has been stabilized. The price is firm and a layaway program is available. Complete photo package by request.
