From what little we can determine, the Russell Cotton Company was located well North of Memphis, conveniently near the Wolf River Bottom Lands whose principal activity was labor-intensive Cotton Production until the mid 1960s. This knife was, we estimate, manufactured about 1950 when Shelby County school kids still got out for cotton picking. This is an Imperial 2 blade small Jack pen knife with cracked ice style handle panels that were laminated over hollow steel, like most Imperials up until about 1970. Both panels are completely intact and nicely aged, the obverse panel more so than the reverse. Advertisement reads Russell Cotton Co. / 43 Upton / Memphis, Tenn. Overall length closed is 2 13/16 inches, and the clip blade measures 2 1/8 inches from point to heel. Blades are full width with strong original polish showing except for some flat-sharpening scouring on the point area of the main big blade. Backspring strength is good; the blades require a bit of assistance closing. We rate this knife as Very Good, close to excellent, since only about 15 to 20 percent of its surfaces are affected by any kind of wear. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. We’re offering this very nice little Cotton Culture artifact for only $ 30.00.
By offering to buy any of our knives, buyer certifies that he/she is 21 years of age and is not prohibited by federal, state, or local laws from possessing that specific knife or knives.

Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
