HG5551 Here is an ongoing product of the Marshall Plan, where the United States helped rebuild Europe after World War II. Beginning in the 1950s, German and Italian manufacturers set up with U.S. funds produced numerous copies of the Colt Scout, great little sellers in the United States. Importers Eig Cutlery, then F.I.E. and Excam, and finally Heritage Arms operated with the little Single Actions as a staple product ever since. Increasingly after 1968, frames were made in the United States with Italian parts, and then more and more cast domestic U.S. parts getting phased in to production. This is the Birdshead variant of the Rough Rider series of revolvers manufactured in Hialeah, Florida with U.S. and imported parts. Like their Italian and German ancestors, the cylinders, barrels, and a few other parts including the triggers on these pistols are made of steel, the rest is cast pot metal including the main frame and distinctive nostalgic grip frame. Barrel is Sheriff’s Model 3 1/2 inch length. Type is single action only rimfire revolver with frame-integral thumb safety. Cylinder capacity is 6 rounds of .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle ammunition. Grips are birdshead style laminated, very strong. In our experience for the past 57 years, these revolvers are serviceable so long as they are not fired a great deal. Where the life of a Ruger Single Six is usually 100,000 rounds or more, the life of one of these will be less than 2,000 rounds. This one has been fired very little. This Rough Rider is .22 LR only, not magnum capable, and Heritage owners who actually fire the magnums are being reckless in our view. It comes to us from the estate of our favorite Pennsylvanian. From our knowledge of its late owner and from its condition, we estimate it has been fired fewer than 100 rounds. Its only surface detractions are faint amounts of cylinder rotation marking; it will grade excellent finishwise, and excellent as it ever was mechanically. It is in its original box with all its papers and gun lock. Replacement pricing on these in many shops in our area is $250 apiece or more. We’ve sold literally tons of their ancestors for less than $20 apiece, but that was quite some time back. We’re offering this one, however, for only $ 159.95. Not transferable to civilians in Akron OH, South Carolina, or any jurisdiction with melt law restrictions for metal frame handguns.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
