Here is the current, state-of-the-art XSE form of the Classic Colt Combat Commander model that retains the traditional look and balance of John M. Browning's invention with updates that maintain its status as the leader in combat handgunning. This is the classic 5 inch barrel all-steel Colt 0 series Stainless all-steel Government Model, catalog #O1070RG, .45 ACP. It's entirely stainless steel, 8 1/2 inches overall length, skeleton Commander hammer, aluminum 3 hole serrated combat trigger with overtravel adjustment capability, 3-dot Novak style sights, with Diamond Checkered Rosewood Colt grips. It has factory Beavertail Grip Safety, and extended 4-serration ambidextrous safety. The Rail Gun comes with beveled magazine well and two 8 + 1 capacity magazines. Finish, as the photos show, is matte stainless with brushed stainless side features. Weight is 38 oz empty with magazine. This specimen is from one of our favorite local law enforcement collectors who never fired it. It is in its box with all its papers, lock and extra magazine. Bushing contact to the barrel surface and slide contact to the hammer face are negligible, no more pronounced than on its brand new mates we have in stock. This is technically a Colt Custom shop pistol, since it is a Series 70 frame action with no firing pin safety. We're offering it for only $ 959.95. Not transferable to civilians in Massachusetts.
